Format: Data is produced as a text file in XML version 1.0 encoding=ISO-8859-1 format.

Dividend events are identified through press releases, company websites, and regulatory/exchange filings. Each Dividend record provides company identifiers, announcement date, record date, ex-div date, pay date, dividend amount, and dividend frequency (e.g., monthly, annual, special). WSH flags dividends that are pending board approval, are paid out in mix of cash and stock, and are announced with base and variable components.
